Christos Begleris

Christos Begleris is the co-CFO at Star Bulk. Christos has over 15 years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on finance. Prior to joining Star Bulk, Christos was the CFO of Oceanbulk Maritime S.A., a large international shipping company. Christos has also worked as an investment associate for London & Regional Properties and as an analyst for Lehman Brothers. Christos has a strong background in financial analysis and capital markets, and they have played a key role in numerous large acquisition projects.

Christos Begleris received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and an IB from Athens College.

Christos Begleris reports to Petros Pappas, CEO. Christos Begleris works with Zenon Kleopas - Executive Vice President – Technical, Hamish Norton - President, and Charis Plakantonaki - CSO.
