Harpreet Kaur Sandhawalia has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Harpreet Kaur'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Product at Star Tribune, where they utilized organizational design and change management principles to drive a customer-focused approach to product development. Harpreet Kaur also partnered closely with the VP of Product Technology to ensure cohesion between technical and product roadmaps. Prior to that, Harpreet served as the Director of Digital Product & Analytics at Star Tribune, where they defined and implemented a 3-year digital product vision focused on modernizing tech infrastructure and maximizing learnings through continuous experimentation and customer focus.

Before joining Star Tribune, Harpreet co-founded One Day Tech, a company that aimed to empower low-income K-12 parents by translating student performance data into actionable insights delivered via SMS. Harpreet Kaur conducted extensive user and market research, developed financial projections, and secured funding for research and minimum viable product (MVP) development.

Harpreet also gained valuable experience as a Summer Fellow at Amber Charter School through their role at Education Pioneers. In this position, they utilized their strategic marketing expertise to build the school's marketing communications strategy, conducting internal and industry analysis to drive brand positioning and the development of key contributor personas.

Additionally, Harpreet has held roles at Briggs & Stratton and Kohl's Department Stores, where they focused on digital product management and marketing. Harpreet Kaur led website redesigns, improved omni-channel experiences, and achieved significant revenue growth through data analysis and strategic initiatives.

Harpreet Kaur Sandhawalia graduated from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 2018 with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, specializing in Information Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Lubar College of Business in 2008. In terms of certifications, Harpreet has completed courses in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, as well as Unconscious Bias through LinkedIn. Harpreet Kaur has also obtained certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance, with the CSPO® certification obtained in June 2021 and the CSM® certification obtained in March 2021.
