Terence Maikels

Terence Maikels is an experienced enterprise translation manager at Starbucks, having held the position since August 2009. Maikels oversees translation strategies across Starbucks and its brands, collaborating with various functions and markets to establish effective practices. Notable achievements include leading the implementation of an enterprise translation management system and managing relationships with language service providers and technology vendors. Prior roles include senior project manager in international operations, program manager in learning and development, and editor roles at prominent publishing companies. Maikels also served as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, developing and teaching a culinary arts course. A Bachelor of Arts in English was obtained from Colgate University in 1997.
