John Cheek has over 10 years of experience in the marketing and insights field. John has held various roles, including Vice President, Director of Audience Insights at Starcom, Principal Consultant at Cheek Marketing & Insights, and Strategy Director at Bastion Insights US. John also served as an Insights Manager at One & All Agency and a Strategy Director at Media Assembly. Prior to these roles, they worked at Initiative as an Associate Director of Consumer Strategy, Supervisor of Consumer Strategy, Consumer Strategist, and Junior Strategist. John began their career at The Human Solution as a Copywriter/Sales Trainer and Sales Representative. John also gained experience as a Strategic Planning Intern at LatinWorks and a Sales Associate at Dell.
John Cheek completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Later, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Advertising with a specialization in Account Planning Track from the same institution from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they obtained the Google Ads Search Certification from Google in December 2019.
