KAREN KENNY

Karen Kenny has been working in the corporate field since 2021, when they began their role as Corporate Specialist at Starfire Energy. Prior to that, they were Assistant Editor and Board Member at National Agricultural Institute.org from 2012 to 2021, where their duties included proofreading and editing a national peer-reviewed journal, organizing and preparing documents for the annual NACTA Conference, maintaining social media for NACTA, NAI and Ag 101, developing content for and maintaining websites for NACTA, NAI, and SagebrushInk, online research for agriculture, food and natural resources content and data curriculum development, creating graphics and designing layouts for documents and presentations, manipulating images and PDFs, and managing electronic files. From 2002 to 2012, Karen was the Owner of KCK Services, where they specialized in setting up and organizing new and existing small businesses, setting up payroll accounts and filing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, balancing checking accounts and setting up companies with Quickbooks, assisting with preparing federal tax returns, and preparing monthly sales tax reports. Before that, they were Office Manager at Pick-Em Up Truck Store from 1997 to 2002.

Karen Kenny received their diploma from Skyline High School in 1986. KAREN then attended the College of Southern Idaho from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Technology. In 2019, they returned to the College of Southern Idaho and obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Agriculture, General in 2020. Karen also holds certifications in First Aide/CPR/AED, Forklift, Fundamentals of Rigging from Crosby Rigging, and OSHA 10.
