Brent Bailey

Brent Bailey is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical technology and robotics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Designer at StarFish Medical since January 2021, Brent is responsible for high-level systems design for innovative medical technology. As the Founder of EvolvedForm since February 2018, Brent leverages entrepreneurial skills in conjunction with a solid engineering background. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Systems Designer at Synaptive Medical, where Brent developed complex electro-mechanical devices for neurosurgery, and Technical Lead at Engineering Services Inc., overseeing engineering teams for next-generation robotic systems. Earlier experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Specialist position at George Kelk Corporation, focusing on sensor systems development. Brent holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University.
