Vinay Sood

Vinay Sood, MBA, currently serves as a Buyer at Stargate Manufacturing Ltd. since April 2023. With prior experience as a Buyer at Sinclair Technologies from May 2022 to April 2023, and as a Procurement Manager at Steelmakers Zimbabwe Pvt Ltd from March 2020 to February 2022, Vinay oversaw annual purchases of USD 6 million and managed global imports for operations and projects. Prior to this, Vinay held the position of Deputy Manager - Procurement at MIDEAST INTEGRATED STEELS LIMITED from January 2011 to March 2020, where responsibilities included machinery procurement for a steel plant and leading the procurement function for the MESCO Group. Vinay also worked as a Project Engineer at TOWER VISION INDIA PVT Ltd for a brief period in 2010. Vinay holds an MBA in Operations Management and Supervision from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Engineering & Technology.
