Shanna Springer

Sr. Director of Operations & HR at Stark County District Library

Shanna Springer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shanna started their career at F.J. Designs in 1996 as an HR Assistant / Payroll Coordinator. From 1997 to 2004, they worked at ProQuest Business Solutions, where they held several positions, including Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Representative, Compensation / HRIS Analyst, and Human Resources Manager.

In 2004, Shanna joined The Timken Company and held positions such as Principal Organizational Advancement (HR) Analyst, Organizational Impact Lead-Project ONE, Organizational Development Specialist, Manager of Talent Programs, and Manager of Talent Programs and Inclusion. Shanna worked there until 2014.

Shanna then worked as the Director of Organizational Advancement at TimkenSteel Corporation from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, they joined the telos institute as a Senior Consultant for a year.

Since 2016, Shanna has been employed at the Stark County District Library, where they worked as the Human Resources Director until 2018 and is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Operations & HR.

Shanna Springer holds a Master's degree in Organizational Development, which they obtained from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Shanna completed their Master's degree program from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, Shanna completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Mount Holyoke College. Shanna attended Mount Holyoke College from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their educational background, Shanna also obtained a certification called SHRM-SCP from the institution SHRM in July 2016.
