Shawn Michael Hurne

Shawn Michael Hurne is a seasoned professional in the design and construction industry, currently serving as a Truss Design Technician at Stark Truss Company, Inc. since April 2017. Previously, Shawn worked as a Construction Project Estimator at Southern Lumber & Millwork, specializing in material take-offs and engineered wood beam calculations. Shawn's experience also includes roles as a Truss Design Technician at Atlantic Building Components and ProBuild Company, where duties involved designing wood truss products and maintaining communication with field personnel. Before specializing in design, Shawn held the position of Design Supervisor at Razor Component Systems, overseeing a design team and coordinating production schedules. Early in the career, Shawn served as a 911 Call Taker for Beaufort County Dispatch and as an Aircraft Rescue & Firefighter in the United States Marine Corps, providing critical emergency response and firefighting services.
