Jason Hartsfield has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a Crisis Intervention Clinician at Behavioral Health Response, where they provided crisis management, suicide prevention, and resource linkage services. Jason then worked as a Social Worker/Low Vision Therapist at the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired from 2014-2015, conducting client assessments and coordinating with specialists to train clients on adaptive tools. Since 2016, they have been working at the Starkloff Disability Institute as a Disability Inclusion Lead Consultant/Career Advisor, developing and delivering professional development courses, workshops, and consultations on disability inclusion for professionals and companies.
