Margo Blayney

Margo Blayney currently serves as the Acting Director of Human Resources, Equity & Risk at Starling Community Services, a position held since December 2023, focusing on cultivating a positive and equitable workplace through talent acquisition and management. With extensive experience as the Executive Director of Luther Village on the Park since September 2010, Margo leads a team supporting one of the Region of Waterloo's largest retirement communities, overseeing operations and strategic direction. Previous roles include Director of Operations and Manager of Sales & Customer Service at Luther Village on the Park, and Program Manager at Starling Community Services. Margo also contributes to education as a Professor of Health Care Administration and Service Management at Conestoga College. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Leadership from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from the University of Waterloo, along with a certificate in Post-secondary Teaching from Conestoga College.
