Durrell Deane

HR Business Partner at Advance Care Alliance of New York

Durrell Deane has had a diverse range of work experience over the years. Durrell began their career at FunFuzion at New Roc City in 2003, where they quickly rose through the ranks from Operations Supervisor to Cash Room Manager to Operations Manager. In this role, they managed a large facility and a staff of approximately 200 people. Durrell was responsible for investigating and addressing guest complaints, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and ordering office supplies. Durrell also played a key role in employee training and development, conducting evaluations and facilitating cross-training. Additionally, Durrell handled cash handling procedures, including counting and reconciling cash registers, preparing deposits and reports, and managing inventory.

After their time at FunFuzion, Durrell worked as a Sales & Service Specialist at Bank of America in 2012. Durrell then became an Operations Manager at Avis Budget Group from July 2012 to April 2013. Following this, Durrell worked as a Store Manager/Assistant Manager at Extra Space Storage from April 2013 to December 2018. In this role, they oversaw store operations and managed a team.

In 2015, Durrell joined Saint Dominic's Family Services as a Human Resources Associate, a role they held until February 2019. During their time there, they gained experience in various HR functions.

Most recently, Durrell has been working as an HR Business Partner at Advance Care Alliance since May 2019.

Durrell Deane pursued their education at SUNY Westchester Community College from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they obtained an Associates degree in Business Administration. Afterwards, they furthered their studies at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College from 2008 to 2011. Durrell completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.
