Drew Hendricks began their career in 2016 as a Researcher at Biological and Active Materials (BAM) Lab. In 2018, they became an Medical Device Intern at Fannin Innovation Studio and a Research, Development and Innovation Intern at Establishment Labs. In the same year, they also became Co-Founder and Director of Quality at Starling Medical, a health-tech start-up company specializing in Urological Health. In 2019, they took on the role of Director of Clinical Operations and R&D Engineer at M&S Biotics, where they were responsible for Clinical Development of an autonomous IoT solution. Additionally, they became a Quality Engineer at Rook Quality Systems, a Quality Consulting Firm specializing in Quality and Regulatory Strategies for emerging Medical Device Companies.

Drew Hendricks is currently enrolled in Y Combinator and is set to begin their Doctor of Medicine - M.D. degree at Texas A&M University in 2021 and will complete the program in 2025. Previously, they obtained their Master of Bioengineering (M.B.E.) degree from Rice University in 2019, their Master of Engineering - M.Eng. degree from Texas A&M University in 2025, and their Bachelor of Science - BSc degree from McGill University in 2018. Drew also holds certifications in Design Controls and Risk Management from Greenlight Guru, a Rescue Scuba Diver certification from PADI, and a Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute.
