Leah Groos

Vice President, Customer Experience at Starship

Leah Groos has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the customer experience and wellness program management fields. Leah most recently worked as the Director of Digital Services at MoneyLion starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Customer Experience at Starship in Optum starting in June 2019.

Before joining Optum, Leah worked at Aduro from 2013 to 2019. During their time at Aduro, they held multiple roles including Director of Member Experience, Manager of Member Experience, and Program Architect. As the Director of Member Experience, they built the customer support function from scratch and established a high standard of service. Leah also led the Member Experience team and trained employees on customer service expectations. As the Program Architect, they designed and implemented corporate wellness programs for mid to large-sized markets.

Prior to their time at Aduro, Leah worked as an Account Director at ADURO, Inc. from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they were responsible for wellness program management and client relations.

Leah has extensive experience in creating exceptional customer experiences, building teams, and implementing wellness programs.

Leah Groos completed their undergraduate studies from 1998 to 2001 at The University of Texas at Austin, earning a BA/BS degree. During this time, they focused on the fields of psychology and biology. Later on, from 2005 to 2009, Leah attended Life Chiropractic College West for their chiropractic studies, earning a DC degree.
