Skylar Rose Adams

Skylar Rose Adams is a dedicated teaching artist with extensive experience in music directing, choreographing, and teaching theatre to K-8 students through Starting Arts since October 2021. Additionally, Skylar serves as a Dramatics and Public Speaking Instructor and Curriculum Developer at Light It Up School of Ministry Infused Arts, where the focus is on the holistic impact of theatre performance. Past roles include serving as an AmeriCorps member with City Year, where support was provided in 8th grade Social Studies and English. Skylar has also worked as an Education Outreach Summer Intensive Coordinator and Acting Coach for the Tower Theatre Foundation, and served as an Admissions Assistant at Santa Clara University. Early experience includes a role as a Theatre Apprentice with Thoroughly Modern Productions. Skylar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Santa Clara University and has received specialized theatre training at The A.C.T. Conservatory.
