Samar Mcheileh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2000, Samar worked at Target Australia as a Customer Service Manager & Cash Clerk until 2005. In 2003, Samar joined Ex-Aus Freight Management Pty Ltd as a Business Manager and worked there until 2007.

From 2007 to 2008, Samar worked as a Media Sales Executive at The Hedge Fund Journal. In 2008, Samar joined National Australia Bank as a Margin Lending Office Assistance for a brief period.

In 2008, Samar joined JBWere and held multiple roles over the years. Samar served as an Associate, Team Leader Reporting from 2008 to 2011 and later became the Director, Head of Operations until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Samar worked as the Director, Head of Markets Group and then as the Executive Director, Markets Group until the end of 2018. Finally, Samar served as the Executive Director/Manager from 2017 to 2018.

In 2019, Samar joined Scale Investors Ltd as a Senior Executive Consultant and later took on the role of Co-CEO in March 2021.

In 2020, Samar worked as a Fellow at Startmate and also joined HOOGA as Product & Operations until August 2022.

Most recently, Samar joined GXE in 2022 as Investment Operations.

Samar Mcheileh's education history includes various qualifications obtained at different institutions. In 2006, Samar completed a Bachelor of Business with a major in International Business at RMIT University. Following this, Samar pursued further education at Kaplan Australia and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance, with a major in Investment Management, in 2011. Samar also has experience in finance for directors, as evidenced by their completion of a program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2015. Most recently, in 2021, Samar attended the Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship and achieved a Venture Capital Catalyst degree, focusing on entrepreneurship.
