Yilai Ilaria Fu

Yilai Ilaria Fu has a strong background in people and talent acquisition, with experience at various companies. Currently, they hold the position of Head of People & Talent Acquisition at StartupGym since June 2022. Previously, they worked at BOOM imagestudio as the Head of People and Culture from June 2019 to June 2022, where they played a crucial role in positioning BOOM as one of the best tech startups to work for and advised the management on all matters concerning people.

Yilai also has experience in the field of HR, having worked at PROMETEON TYRE GROUP in multiple roles. Yilai Ilaria served as a Talent Acquisition Manager from June 2018 to June 2019 and as an HR Business Partner for West Europe from April 2017 to August 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Junior HR Business Partner from January 2016 to April 2017.

Before their HR roles, Yilai gained a full scholarship to attend the Masters in HR Management program at 24ORE Business School from May 2015 to December 2015. During this time, they also provided classroom tutoring activities and supported the Business School in classroom preparation and Professor's reviews.

Yilai has also worked in the fashion industry, including positions as a Sales Account Executive at Max Mara Fashion Group from November 2014 to May 2015, a Sales Associate at Bottega Veneta from July 2013 to November 2014, and a Sales Associate at Dolce & Gabbana from May 2012 to July 2013. At Dolce & Gabbana, they represented the brand, provided an iconic customer experience, and proactively developed sales. Yilai Ilaria also had a brief stint as a Sales Associate at Max Mara Fashion Group in 2011.

Yilai Ilaria Fu completed their education with a Master's degree in HR Management from the 24ORE Business School in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore between 2010 and 2014. In 2009, they studied Chinese language at Donghua University for one year.
