Marcus Handley has extensive legal experience in the media and entertainment sector, currently serving as General Counsel and Head of Compliance at StarzPlay since March 2015. Prior roles include General Counsel at Rotana Media Group and Senior Legal Counsel at OSN, where strong expertise in pay television and subscription services was developed. Earlier in the career, Marcus worked as Associate Lawyer at MBC TV, contributing to one of the largest broadcasting networks in the Middle East, and as Assistant Lawyer at The Rights Lawyers, with a focus on creative industries. The professional journey began at Eversheds Sutherland, where Marcus qualified in the Intellectual Property Department after completing a trainee solicitor program. Education was completed at Durham School in the United Kingdom.
