Earl Young

CRO at SEFCU

Earl Young has been working in the financial industry for over 35 years. Earl started their career at CenterBank in 1985, where they spent 9 years as the VP of marketing and business development. In 1994, they transitioned to People's Savings Bank & Trust as a senior lender and SVP. Earl then spent two years as the chief commercial banking officer at American Savings Bank before moving to American Bank of CT as the chief lending officer. In 2009, they became the chief risk officer at Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, where they worked for 5 years. In 2014, they began working at SEFCU in the same role and is currently still employed there.

Earl Young has a BA in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of New Haven.

They work with Gary Young - Chief Member Experience Officer, Kathy Lanni - CCO, and Peter D. Wohl - Chief Performance & Innovation Officer. Earl Young reports to Michael J. Castellana, President & CEO.
