Kristin Heying

Kristin Heying, SHRM-CP, is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Analyst 2 for the State of Oregon since May 2024, and previously held the same title at Multnomah County from September 2023 to May 2024. Kristin's extensive background includes seven years as Recruitment and Employment Strategies Manager at United Cerebral Palsy of Oregon & SW Washington and a role as an AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate focusing on child nutrition programs. Kristin also founded Café au Play, achieving 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and leading organizational development efforts. Earlier career experiences include educational roles such as Behavior Specialist and Learning Specialist Assistant across multiple school districts, supporting students with diverse needs. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Portland State University.
