Kyle Maynard

Kyle Maynard is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Assistant Attorney General for the State of Utah in the Department of Natural Resources, specifically within the Division of Wildlife Resources, since January 2021. Previously, Kyle held the position of Executive Director at Friends of Alta from January 2019 to January 2021, and worked as an Associate at CoilLaw, LLC from February 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, Kyle contributed as a Project Manager at Breathe Utah for a brief period in early 2018 and volunteered with the Natural Resource Conservation Service in the Department of Agriculture in 2016, where responsibilities included document organization for conservation easement applications. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree focused on Land Use and Sustainable Development/Environmental Law from West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Anthropology from West Virginia University. Kyle also studied at the University of Malta in 2013.
