Debi Ghate

Debi Ghate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law, philanthropy, and policy advocacy. Currently serving as a Partner at Steadfast since November 2021, Debi also holds the position of Initiative Director for Voices for Liberty at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School, alongside roles as Executive Fellow with both the State Policy Network and the Empire Center for Public Policy. As President of the Government Justice Center since November 2019, Debi leads efforts to protect citizen rights through pro-bono legal representation. Prior roles include Vice President of Strategy and Programs at The Philanthropy Roundtable and Senior Director at The Snider Foundation, among others. Debi's academic background includes a law degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto - New College.
