Anthony C. Bisegna

Anthony C. Bisegna is executive vice president and head of State Street Global Markets. In this role, he oversees all aspects of Global Markets’ trading, product and operations platform, helping to drive successful client solutions.

Anthony is responsible for leading all aspects of the strategic direction, execution and deployment of resources for Global Markets businesses including FX trading, securities finance, FICC repo trading, transition management, currency management, equity trading and outsourced trading. The key focus is on being a trusted partner to provide industry leading asset intelligence, liquidity and financing solutions to clients.

Anthony has more than 30 years of experience successfully managing and leading trading businesses with a strong track record for success. Under his leadership the FX business has substantially grown into an industry leader providing innovative products and solutions to State Street’s clients. Prior to joining State Street, he was with Chase Manhattan Bank, New York in their treasury operations. Since joining State Street’s Capital Markets Group in 1987, Tony has held a variety of trading and management positions in foreign exchange, money markets and derivatives.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Providence College and a Master of Science degree in finance from Bentley University. Tony also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the Foreign Exchange Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a board member of the GFMA’s Global FX Division, a member of the CFA institute and a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society.
