Beth A. King

Beth A. King has a robust career in career services and education, currently serving as an Employer Relations Specialist and Senior Career Specialist for Internships at SUNY New Paltz since January 2005. Throughout this tenure, Beth has advanced from Internship & Service Learning Coordinator to various specialized roles, including Senior Career Specialist for Internships. Additionally, Beth has been an Adjunct Instructor at SUNY New Paltz since January 2018, teaching Career & Internship Prep. Prior experience includes teaching Career Planning & Decision Making at Marist College and holding roles as Placement Counselor and Externship Coordinator at The Culinary Institute of America. Educational qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Social Justice, Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from SUNY New Paltz, alongside earlier studies at Bard College and a Regents Diploma with Honors from Sherburne-Earlville High School.
