Chih-Yang Tsai is a Professor at State University of New York at New Paltz, where responsibilities include teaching quantitative analysis, information systems, and measurement and internal control. Tsai served as Interim Dean, launching an online MBA option and engaging in fundraising activities, and previously held the position of Associate Dean, leading efforts for AACSB Accreditation. As an Independent Consultant, Tsai advised a Dow component financial company on nonlinear optimization for budget allocation and developed software to analyze physician workflow at Albany Medical Center. Tsai's earlier career includes roles as Special Assistant to the CEO at Tatung and Production Controller, coordinating between departments on Material Requirements Planning. Education includes a Ph.D. in Operations Research from NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA in Operations Management from Tatung University.
