Vice Chancellor for Academic & Student Affairs at State University System of Florida

Dr. Christy England is the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs for the State University System of Florida, the unit in the Board Office that provides leadership and coordination via collaborative data collection, research, analysis, policy development, and strategic planning for academic, student, research, and economic development issues that affect the System. Dr. England joined the Board of Governors in August of 2015 as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Research and Policy and served as interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs from July 1 until October 31, 2018. Previously, she was Associate Provost of Institutional Research and Data Analytics at the State University of New York System in Albany, New York. She has also worked for the Washington Student Achievement Council, the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Illinois Board of Higher Education, Illinois State University, and GROWMARK. A native of Illinois, Dr. England earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration all from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
