John Mulrooney

John Mulrooney has over 20 years of experience in operations and management roles. John is currently the Vice President of Operations at State Window Corporation, where they oversee the company's operational functions. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Plant Operations at the same company. Before joining State Window, Mulrooney worked at Royal Building Products as the General/Plant Manager, where they were responsible for managing the largest extrusion plant within the division and achieving new business development. John also held various leadership positions at Kromet International Inc, including Vice President of Manufacturing, Director of Advanced Manufacturing, and General Manager. At Kromet, they implemented lean manufacturing practices, reduced lead times, improved delivery performance, and implemented cost reduction measures. Mulrooney also worked as the General Manager at Alliance Surface Finishing, where they successfully completed an operational turnaround and restructuring. Earlier in their career, they held management positions at Magna International, where they led restructuring and performance improvement efforts. Overall, Mulrooney has diverse and extensive experience in operations, manufacturing, and general management.

John Mulrooney completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1987 to 1993. John then pursued further studies at the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from 1993 to 1995. Later, John enrolled in the Executive Development Program - The Transition to General Management at the University of Chicago in 2000.
