Ed DeFord

Ed DeFord currently serves as the Marketing Director at State Farm since May 2023, overseeing a range of insurance products including auto, homeowners, renters, life, and health insurance. Prior to this role, Ed held the position of Vice President of Sales at Mono Slab® EZ Form, where responsibilities included managing a frost-protected shallow foundation forming system. Ed has also worked as a Sales Manager at MGM Association Management, contributing to the success of homeowner association management in Idaho. Earlier experience includes roles as Customer Development Manager and Purchasing Agent at Gem State Paper and Supply, as well as Sales Representative at Kinetico of Magic Valley, focusing on public relations and customer service. Ed holds a BS in Human Resource Training and Development from Idaho State University and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the College of Southern Idaho.
