Karina Ong Cruz

Karina Ong Cruz currently serves as the Head of Lower School at Staten Island Academy since July 2023. Prior to this, Karina held the position of Head of Children's House at Metropolitan Montessori School from 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing curriculum implementation, faculty development, and stakeholder relationship management. Karina's prior experience also includes roles as an Early Childhood Educator at The Elisabeth Morrow School and Director of Admissions at Waterfront Montessori, showcasing a strong background in curriculum development, admissions processes, and fostering inclusive educational environments. Karina holds a Master’s Degree in Family Life and Child Development from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Management from De La Salle University.
