Emilie Boe Bierlich

Emilie Boe Bierlich is a seasoned researcher and curator with extensive experience in the art and museum sector. Currently serving as a researcher and curator at SMK – Statens Museum for Kunst since January 2022, Emilie previously held the position of postdoctoral researcher at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek from November 2019 to December 2021. Emilie's career at SMK includes a tenure as a PhD fellow from April 2015 to October 2019. Prior to these roles, Emilie worked as a curator at Den Hirschsprungske Samling and Ordrupgaard, and contributed to The Royal Danish Theater as an editor for their portrait collection. Emilie's academic credentials include a PhD, MA, and BA in Art History from the University of Copenhagen, further establishing a strong foundation in the field of art curation and research.
