Tomas Levin

Tomas Levin has extensive work experience in various engineering and research roles. From 2014, they have been working as a Senior Principal Engineer at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. Prior to that, they worked at SINTEF as a Research Scientist from 2006 to 2014 and as a dr.gradsstipendiat from 2006 to 2012. Tomas also worked at Rambøll as a Rådgiver from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they served as a Board member at NTNU from 2000 to 2001.

Tomas Levin earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Assessment from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2006 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Siv.ing degree in Transportation at NTNU from 1997 to 2001. In 1994 and 1995, they attended Cornell University to study City and Regional Planning.

Statens vegvesen - Norwegian Public Roads Administration

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the national and county road networks, vehicle inspection and requirements, driver training and licensing. It is also authorized to grant subsidies for ferry operations. The Public Roads Administration is under the leadership of the Directorate of Public Roads, which is an autonomous agency subordinated the Ministry of Transport and Communication. The Public Roads Administration encompasses five regional offices.
