Laura Kilian

Laura Kilian has extensive legal experience spanning 14 years. In 2007, they began their career as an Associate at Milbank LLP, where they advised clients on complex public and private equity M&A transactions. Laura also completed an externship at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law. In 2010, Kilian joined Hogan Lovells as an Associate, where they advised issuers and underwriters in the areas of debt and equity capital markets. In 2012, they moved to Gunderson Dettmer as an Associate, where they specialized in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. In 2014, Kilian joined BuzzFeed as Vice President and Associate General Counsel, where they structured, negotiated and executed sophisticated corporate transactions. In 2019, they moved to Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company, as Director, Legal and Associate General Counsel, where they focused on legal and business counseling across Sidewalk Labs' diverse investment portfolio and technology businesses. In 2021, Kilian joined Statespace as General Counsel.

Laura Kilian completed their J.D. at New York University School of Law in 2007. Prior to that, they earned their B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002.
