María Meroño has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. María is currently the Head of Iberia at Statista, a German data provider. Previously, they worked at Oxford Business Group as the Head of Sales for Latin America and Asia, where they managed commercial teams and implemented strategies for business development and brand awareness. María also served as the Country Director for Oxford Business Group in multiple countries, leading teams and conducting meetings with high-level officials and corporate executives. Prior to that, María worked as a Sales Manager at ASAP Worldwide and as an International Key Account Manager at MSB, where they managed projects and client relationships. María began their career in the marketing department of Nobeltours, where they handled collaboration proposals and sales.

María Meroño completed their Master of Marketing and Sales Management Mod II at Esade in 2015. In 2003-2004, they pursued their degree in Business Administration and Management at Maastricht University. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Business with a focus on the bilingual system, specifically English and Spanish.
