Matthias Kemmerich

Matthias Kemmerich has a strong work background in research, starting as a Research Trainee at Statista in 2010. Matthias progressed through various positions within the company, including Junior Researcher, Researcher, Senior Researcher, Research Manager, and Senior Research Manager. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Assistant Head of Research for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, before being promoted to Head of Research for the same region in January 2022. Before joining Statista, Matthias worked as an intern at Politik-digital E.V. in 2009.

Matthias Kemmerich pursued their education in a chronological manner. Matthias started their academic journey in 2000 at The University of Freiburg, where they studied Geschichte und Politikwissenschaft until 2003. From there, they joined the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2003 and took courses in Geschichte for a year. In 2004, Matthias Kemmerich enrolled at the University of Hamburg and completed their studies in Politikwissenschaft, earning a degree known as Magister Artium, which they received in 2009.
