Pal Erik Sjatil

Pal Erik Sjatil is a professional with extensive experience in leadership and management. Currently serving as Managing Partner and CEO at Lightrock since October 2020, Pal Erik Sjatil focuses on impact investment and scaling tech-based solutions for global challenges. Additionally, Pal Erik Sjatil holds a position on the Board of Directors at Statkraft, the largest renewable energy producer in Europe, since July 2022. Prior to these roles, Pal Erik Sjatil had a lengthy career at McKinsey & Company from February 1998 to September 2020, culminating in the role of Senior Partner with various leadership positions across Europe and the EEMA region. Earlier experience includes serving as an Officer in the Royal Norwegian Air Force from 1991 to 1993. Pal Erik Sjatil earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial Economics (Mechanical Engineering) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1993 and 1997.
