Paolo Pizzorni

Paolo Pizzorni is an experienced professional in the solar and renewable energy sectors, currently serving as the Head of Technical Management NL/PL and Solar Engineering Manager for Statkraft since July 2019. With a strong background in utility-scale solar PV and BESS engineering, Paolo has previously held positions such as Senior Technical Manager at New Energy Scout GmbH and Technical Sales Manager & PV Specialist at Designergy SA, where responsibilities included conducting feasibility studies and investment evaluations. Notably, during tenure at Trina Solar (Schweiz) AG, Paolo managed the design and due diligence for multiple PV sites in the UK. Prior experience includes project engineering roles at Ansaldo Energia S.p.A. and R&D engineering at Ansaldo Fuel Cells S.p.A. Paolo holds a Master's degree in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH Zürich and dual Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
