Vikas Garg

Vikas Garg is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Development at Statkraft since May 2019, where responsibilities include strategizing and growing the asset business in India. Previously, Vikas held the role of Director of Business Development at Statkraft, focusing on renewable technology expansion in the region. Prior to this, Vikas was the Head of Hydro and M&A at KPMG India, leading deal strategy in power, infrastructure, energy storage, and electric vehicles from April 2015 to April 2019. Vikas also served as Associate Director in Deal Advisory, specializing in deal strategy and restructuring. Vikas began career as a Lead Consultant at Feedback INFRA, cultivating extensive experience across various segments of the energy sector in India, South Asia, and Africa. An MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a B Com from Symbiosis Society's College for Arts and Commerce underpin Vikas's educational background.
