Robin Westhaver

Robin Westhaver has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 with a role as an Events Coordinator for the Atlantic Fringe Festival. In 2010, they worked as a Bilingual Interviewer for Statistics Canada. In 2011, they were a Bilingual Event Coordinator for eSource Event Registration. In 2013, they held the role of Night Auditor at the Holiday Inn Express Halifax Airport. In 2014, they were a Réceptionniste for Auberge du Vieux-Port (Groupe Antonopoulos). From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Sunwing Travel Group, first as a Customer Relations Resolution Investigator and then as a Customer Relations Resolution Correspondent. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Travel Operations Lead for Agencia Global and Quality Assurance Specialist for FlightHub/JustFly at Momentum Travel Group. Finally, in 2020 they became a Full Stack Developer at Stay22, where they created RESTful APIs and custom middleware performing CRUD operations on the noSQL database, built database schemas with custom validators, handled token management with JWT and Redis, and created frontend components in Vue, with VueX and Bootstrap in one project, and React, with StyledComponents, Storybook and Antd in another project.

Robin Westhaver has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they completed a Web Development Bootcamp at Lighthouse Labs, where they studied Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. In 2010, they earned a Master of Arts from both Bournemouth University and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, both in European Tourism Management. In 2009, they earned a Master of Arts from Breda University of Applied Sciences, also in European Tourism Management. In 2008-2009, they earned a Maitrise from Universit\u00e9 Savoie Mont Blanc in Tourism Management and Development. Finally, in 2002-2006, they earned a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University in French, Theatre, and Spanish.
