Before Qulture.Rocks, Giovanna gained experience as a Software Developer at Yapay from 2021 to 2021. Giovanna worked on the back-end of a Ruby on Rails monolith, where they learned about MVC architecture, TDD, asynchronous jobs, Rest API, Docker, and CleanCode.

In 2020, Giovanna worked as a Meteorologist at Somar Meteorology. Giovanna was responsible for monitoring rainfall, triggering alerts, and preparing weather and climate forecasts as part of the Civil Defense of the State of São Paulo. Additionally, they interned at Somar Meteorology in 2020, where they gained foundational skills and improved their communication, writing, and teamwork abilities.

Earlier in their career, Giovanna held various roles at Atmos Júnior - Meteorology Junior Enterprise from 2017 to 2020. Giovanna served as an Advisor in 2020, Chief Executive Officer in 2019, and Communications Director from 2017 to 2018.

Giovanna Bottesi completed their Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including "Gestão de Desempenho e suas Tendências" from Qulture.Rocks Brasil in November 2021, "Introdução às OKRs" from Qulture.Rocks in November 2021, and "Imersão Web - Ruby on Rails (TDD, Metodologias Ágeis e Boas Práticas)" from Campus Code in February 2021.
