Alissa Halacy

Alissa Halacy is an experienced Technical Writer at Electric Boat since August 2017, specializing in creating technical documentation for submarine systems and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Additionally, since January 2010, Alissa has taken on multiple roles at the Steamship Historical Society of America, ranging from Project Coordinator to Research & Communications Assistant, focused on membership communications, data maintenance, and proofreading. Previous experience includes serving as an Editor at B.E. Publishing, where Alissa revised educational content and contributed to an online learning platform, and as an Administrative Assistant at MRINetwork, managing operational tasks. Alissa’s career began in customer service at Christmas Tree Shops, developing foundational skills in management and customer relations. Alissa holds a Master of Science in Publishing from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Rhode Island.
