The Role

To meet our growth and expansion goals, we’ve built and deployed applications at scale with multiple approaches across various tools and cloud providers. You will contribute to meaningful frontend engineering work that influences how our website it seen globally by our business customers

What it covers: As a Fullstack Engineer at Stears, you are responsible for:

  • Design and implementation of the overall web application platform

  • Pixel-perfect implementation of our approved user interface

  • Understand our data platform and how data drives it

  • Meet all technical and consumer requirements which includes building responsive applications that meet customer requirements and keep them engaged.

  • Contribution and scaling of our REST API

  • Building beautiful user experiences

  • Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API

  • Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

  • Contributing & integrating a design system

  • Moderate CMS exposure such as Webflow.

Who you will work with: This role is part of the Stears team. As the Fullstack Engineer, you will also be a member of the Delivery team (product, design & engineering) and report to the Engineering Manager. In addition to working with the core team of product manager, engineers, and designers, you will work with many internal stakeholders, including Design, Product, Intelligence, Sales, and Platform. 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Background working with RESTful or GraphQL APIs

  • Task automation such as Celery

  • ReactJS

  • NextJS

  • Developing and extending Content Management Systems.

  • TypeScript

  • Python (optional)

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes & Helm

  • Passion towards driving improvements in a data centric environment

  • Experience deploying builds to popular cloud providers - GCP/AWS

  • Experience with log aggregation and observability tooling - e.g. PLG / ELK stack Moderate experience with the linux/unix/mac operating system scripting

  • Experience with Gitlab & Git-based deployment workflows

  • Django (optional)
