Maizie Desmarais

Maizie Desmarais has a diverse work experience in the field of art and technology. Maizie recently worked as a Technical Artist at Steel Wool Studios starting in 2021. Prior to this, they were a Lighting/Comp Artist at Brazen Animation from 2020 to 2021. Maizie also served as an Art Teaching Assistant at SMU Guildhall in 2019.

In 2019, Maizie worked as an Environment Artist at both Yellow Card Studios and Common Denominator Studios. Before venturing into the art industry, they gained technical skills as a Technician at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2015 to 2017. During their time there, they were responsible for creating flyers, managing user accounts, and resolving network issues.

Maizie Desmarais completed their education with a Master's degree from SMU Guildhall in 2020. Maizie specialized in the Art Creation track within Cohort 28. Prior to their Master's degree, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Technology from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they attended from 2015 to 2017. Furthermore, they obtained an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Temple College, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.
