Chris Schumacher

Chris Schumacher's work experience starts with their role as a Sr. Product Designer at Marine Accessories Corporation in 2007, followed by their position as an Engineering Manager at Magna International-Bestop Division from 2005 to 2007, where they designed new products for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler and implemented a new product development process.

Chris then worked as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Sundyne from 2008 to 2014, responsible for designing and drafting industrial oil and gas compressors and pumps.

After that, Chris worked at Jabil as a Sr. Design Engineer in 2014, responsible for designing computer data storage cooling systems. Chris then joined Terumo BCT the same year as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, where they designed medical blood processing systems.

From 2015 to 2018, Chris held the position of Product Design Manager at Lund International, leading the creative activities for a team and launching hundreds of automotive accessory products each year.

In 2019, they worked as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Intermountain Electronics, where they designed and released CAD engineering for large industrial power, automation, and process building systems.

Later, in 2020, Chris became a Sr. Composites Engineer at ORIBI, designing and developing cost-effective, high-volume production thermoplastic composite components.

Chris'smost recent position is as a Sr. Systems Design Engineer at Steelhead Composites - Hydrogen Storage Solutions since 2022. Here, they are responsible for CAD design and drafting for manufacturing large Hydrogen storage systems, working with a team to design and develop parts, assemblies, and kit drawings.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong CAD design and engineering skills, as well as experience in product development, manufacturing, and project management.

Chris Schumacher attended The University of Kansas from 1990 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial and Product Design.
