Jacob Kuntz

Jacob Kuntz has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental health and safety. Jacob currently works as an Environmental Health & Safety Business Partner at Lunds & Byerlys since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley as the Corporate Director Safety and Security, where they were responsible for maintaining relationships with public officials, vendors, and resort leaders to address security needs. Jacob also developed emergency operations and crisis plans for various threats. Before that, they served as the Loss Prevention Manager at the same company, overseeing security operations for high-profile guests and leading investigations. Jacob also worked at Marriott Hotels as a Safety and Security Manager, where they implemented a training program to improve collaboration between resort teams and first responders during emergencies. Jacob improved the resort's safety and mitigation audit score and was commended by Marriott Vacation Global Fire, Life, and Safety. Furthermore, Jacob started their career as an Emergency Management Intern at Carver County, where they assisted in disaster management efforts during the 2014 Midwest flooding and coordinated assessments and resource coordination between cities and townships.

Jacob Kuntz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from North Dakota State University from 2010 to 2014.
