Dr. Sebastian Weber

Dr. Sebastian Weber's work experience includes serving as the Managing Director and Group CFO at STEINERT GmbH since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager Germany at AEG Power Solutions from January 2021 to December 2021. From 2015 to 2020, they held the role of Managing Director and CFO at R. Stahl HMI Systems, and from 2007 to 2015, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at R. Stahl HMI Systems. Dr. Sebastian also worked as a Project Manager for Mergers & Acquisitions and as an Assistant to the CEO at R. Stahl AG from 2005 to 2007 and from 2003 to 2005, respectively. Before that, Dr. Weber worked as a Consultant at The Financial Competence Company, where they were responsible for consulting and evaluating small and midsized companies.

Dr. Sebastian Weber completed their education at Technische Universität Ilmenau. From 1985 to 1994, they attended Max-Planck-Gymnasium Heidenheim, where they obtained their Abitur. Dr. Weber then pursued their undergraduate studies at Technische Universität Ilmenau, earning a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from 1994 to 2001. Dr. Sebastian continued their academic journey at the same institution, completing their Doctorate (PhD) in Economics from 2002 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Weber has obtained several certifications in the field of SAP. In 2021, they became a SAP Certified Application Associate in Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA 1809. Dr. Sebastian further expanded their expertise by achieving two more certifications in 2021 and 2022, namely the SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA for Management Accounting Associates and SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates respectively, both based on the SAP S/4HANA 2020 version. The institutions providing these certifications were SAP.
