VDC Developer at Stellar

Artem Kovalchuk has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Artem is currently employed at Jacobs as a BIM Engineer since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Stellar as a VDC Developer starting in September 2021. From April 2020 to July 2021, they were a Project Manager Team Lead at TEBIN, responsible for engineering design of business campuses. Before that, they worked at Bilfinger Industrial Services - USA as a Project Manager - BIM Manager from March 2018 to February 2020. Artem also has extensive experience at Bilfinger Tebodin, where they held roles such as Project Manager/Project Engineer and Lead Mechanical Engineer/BIM Manager, working on various multi-disciplinary projects in Central Eastern Europe. Their responsibilities included process piping design activities and managing BIM design. Artem possesses software knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, Fluidflow, and Caesar II. Artem has also obtained certifications for AutoCAD Plant 3D & PI&D 2016, training for Steam and Condensate system, and Caesar II Static Training.

Artem Kovalchuk obtained a Master's degree in Nuclear Power Plants, Power Engineer from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2003 to 2009. Artem also earned a Bachelor of Nuclear Power Supply degree with a specialization in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology/Technician during the same period at the same institution. In terms of certifications, Artem has completed various courses and training programs such as Learning BIM 360 Glue Classic from LinkedIn in October 2021, Procore Architect Certificate from Procore Technologies in September 2021, and BIM Manager: Autodesk Applications Setup & Deployment from LinkedIn in August 2021. Additionally, they possess certifications in BIM-VDC for Construction, Learning Jira Software, BIM 360: Docs Essential Training, Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), CAESAR II Statics training, and AutoCAD Plant 3D & AutoCAD P&ID 2016.
