Karen Demello

Karen DeMello is a Senior Software Systems Engineer at Stellar Solutions since September 2015, currently serving as the Crowdsourcing Challenge Coordinator and Technical Integration lead for the NASA Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation. Between 2020 and 2021, Karen contributed as an Agile Coach for Lockheed Martin's Blackjack team, designing and implementing a Doc Tree to manage multi-company interfaces. From 2015 to 2020, Karen was involved in the NASA Orion EM-1 Flight Software project, focusing on requirements analysis and embedded testing software verification for deep space missions. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Design Assurance lead at Boston Scientific, managing software projects at Nocimed, and contracting for various high-tech companies through Epoch Software Systems. Karen holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Music from Clarke University and has further education from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
