The Junior Data Engineer will support the Director, Data Engineering to help deliver data to the StellarAlgo platform. You will collaborate closely with team members to learn data processes in order to effectively implement and configure data pipelines in the StellarAlgo data process. 

What You'll Do

• Contribute to implementation of teams data platform through working with: SQL / Python / Trino / AWS cloud infrastructure / Github / Visual Studio code

• Learn the business and data requirements of all our clients

• Create documentation of processes and stakeholder needs

• Collaborate with team members on pair programming and code reviews.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Science or Software Engineering schooling

• Curiosity for Data and how it impacts our day to day lives and that of our clients and sports / live entertainment fans.

• Can Demonstrate a school or personal project related to data development and ELT/ELT patterns.

• School or personal project with transformation in python.

• Basic knowledge of cloud systems (Azure / AWS / GCP) and how they work and their advantages.

• Demonstration of continuous self-improvement.

• Knowledge of agile development and their best practices.
