Chris Kanavy, MPA

Chris Kanavy, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2011, Chris started working as a Specialty Markets Sales Representative at Comserve Systems. From 2013 to 2014, Chris served as a Loan Processor at NVR Mortgage. Chris then joined 2U in 2014 and held various roles including Graduate Admissions Counselor, Clinical Coordinator, Manager of New Partner Implementation, and Senior Manager of New Partner Implementation. In 2022, Chris joined Ellucian as a Project Manager, and in 2023, Chris joined Stellic as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on Campus Implementations.

Chris Kanavy, MPA, completed a Master of Public Administration degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Arts from Marywood University, which they attended from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Chris Kanavy has obtained several certifications. Chris completed the "Project101x: Introduction to Project Management" course at edX in March 2023. Chris also completed various project management courses on budgets, teams, schedules, ethics, and requirements from LinkedIn between 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, they completed courses in critical thinking, operations management foundations, accounting foundations, applying managerial accounting, and communicating with confidence from LinkedIn between 2020 and 2021. In June 2014, they obtained a certificate in "Leading From the Middle" from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
