Bob Schaefer

Bob Schaefer has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and renewable energy fields. Bob is currently serving as the President of Stem, Inc., a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were the CEO and President of AlsoEnergy from 2007 to 2022, where they played a key role in providing energy monitoring and financial management software solutions for the clean-tech industry. Before joining AlsoEnergy, Bob served as the CEO and COO of Breece Hill LLC from 2003 to 2007. Bob also held the position of VP of Robotics Engineering at Maxoptix Corporation Inc from 2001 to 2003. Bob's earlier positions include being the VP of Engineering at Breece Hill from 1993 to 2000, an Engineer at Hertrich Development Inc from 1985 to 1992, and a Reliability Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1983 to 1984.

Bob Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 1979 and 1983. Bob later pursued a Master of Science in Control Systems at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1991 to 1993.
